Overview
Subscription renewal is the process of extending your GSK POS subscription for another year. When your annual subscription nears its end, you'll need to renew to maintain uninterrupted access to the system.
💡 Good to Know: GSK POS currently requires manual renewal - you initiate the renewal when needed. We'll remind you before your subscription expires.
When to Renew
Your GSK POS subscription is valid for 365 days from the date of payment. Here's the renewal timeline:
📅 Renewal Timeline
- 30 days before expiry: First reminder email sent
- 14 days before expiry: Second reminder email
- 7 days before expiry: Final reminder - urgent action needed
- Expiry date: Subscription ends - enter grace period
- 7-day grace period: Limited access - can still view and pay
- After grace period: Full lockout - view-only mode until renewal
Grace Period Explained
📅 7-Day Grace Period
After your subscription expires, you get a 7-day grace period where:
- You can: Log in, view your data, make payment
- You cannot: Process new sales, add products, create transactions
- Purpose: Give you time to renew without losing complete access
- Your data: Safe and intact - nothing is deleted
After Grace Period
If you don't renew within the 7-day grace period:
- View-only mode: Can only view data, cannot modify anything
- No transactions: Cannot process sales or purchases
- Data preserved: All your data remains safe
- Instant restoration: Full access returns immediately after renewal payment
💡 Your Data is Safe: We never delete your business data, even if subscription expires. Everything will be there when you renew.
